We believe that teacher led school clubs enhance a child’s learning and enjoyment at school. They promote the acquisition and development of new and existing skills, and give children the opportunity to participate in activities that they may not otherwise encounter.
Our aim is to provide free, high quality, teacher led clubs to children across the whole school community and to maximise the numbers of children attending each club.
All club sign ups will be online. Please speak with your child about which club they would like to do before signing them up. If you have more than one child looking to take part in clubs, please fill in individual online forms for each child.
Many of the clubs will run across the year, however, some clubs may only be open to a specific year group at certain points in the year. For example, Tag Rugby and Netball will start with Year 5 and 6 children in Autumn 2. In Spring 2, Year 4 children will then join and the Year 6’s will then help to mentor and lead club sessions.
Please be aware that places are not allocated on a first come first serve basis and many clubs get over subscribed. We try to give children equal opportunities to clubs. When we have finalised the club numbers, you will only be contacted if your child has a place.
All clubs for which we require an online sign up will take place before (8.00-8.45) or after school (3.30-4.15).
