FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Parents and Carers will qualify for free school meals for their children if they receive one of the following benefits. You will need to collect an application form at the Front Desk as soon as possible.

• Income Support

• Income Based Jobseekers Allowance

• An income-related employment and support allowance

• Support under part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

• Child Tax Credit (provided they are not entitled to Working Tax Credit) and have an annual income that does not exceed £16,190 as assessed by HMRC

• Guarantee element of State Pension Credit

Pupil Premium Funding -

We receive additional funding to support the learning of some pupils.  If your child does not have free school meals but may be eligible because of your family’s income level, please contact the school office (in confidence) to register them.

Even if you do not wish for your child to have a free school meal, the school could still register them and claim pupil premium funding that will benefit your child and the school.
